My name is James Watkins. I am 63 years old. I retired eight years ago after a stroke left a big impact on me. The doctors who treated me were amazed how I survived after a lot of blood was poured out. Recovery is long and difficult. I could not talk for the first week, and at least I moved my hand. Thanks to the doctors who struggled with me, I managed to stand on my feet, go through again and partially recover.
HOW THE RECOVERY WAS GOING
The recovery was very difficult and strenuous. As if I was a baby I had to learn all the above. From walking to speech and using the remaining limbs. Today I have been a consequence, but I did it.
Nowadays, stress is the biggest enemy of man, and that is what caused my stroke in my life. My advice to all people in my age is to avoid stressful situations.
